Lost, on a trail in the dark
Through the throes of a bleeding heart,
These wounds were turned to scars.
Sunrise foretold
A promise made
Everyday, a greater task
Yet the greatest pain lies in the past
That which brought me here,
Slowly became clear.
In every way, the challenges grow,
And the sunrise it can come so slow.
Waiting for the day,
I’ll forget to wait.
Somehow cast into mystery
I found my strength through misery.
Tides come and they make us grow.
Leaving us stronger as they go.
They always go..
Everyday, a greater task
And the times of despair stay in the past.
That which brought me here,
Slowly became clear.
In every way, the challenges grow,
Yet further and farther along this path I shall go.
To seek the morning’s light,
In this eternal fight.
Through ice and fire,
And trials of liars.
Brought down, only to rise again
